plastic guns as toys
visiting my nephews, i was wondering what i should get as gifts. place opposite i worked and that i passed everyday was a military consigment store. an old military helmet, my attention narrowed in on to it
flash forward, i am looking at my nephew playing with it enthusiastically along with an old plastic gun he had from some one else. my thoughts,while not mirroring my facial expressions, wander around whether its appropriate for such games..isnt this kid too young for it?..
.as this 4 year old mimics gun sounds and proudly exclaims taking out the baddies, my unease sets in more....
