coaching carousel and flightwares...
yes, i am an alumni of a college with a major football program..and yes i am an avid fan of college football! and yes its been a fascinating last eight years as this program has gone through four coaches in that span...the first coach had an affair with his secretary, the second coach ran away while preaching players to 'hold onto the rope', the third coach was involved with strippers! and the fourth, bless his heart was a good one but just couldn't win!
all meanwhile, the program went through sanctions, accusations of buying players, shady memphis area dealings and boosters gone wild. to add to this drama, an opposing school coach just north of the border ratted and played his own games!...
hmmm...now we are in the midst of another search. and people are tracking flight paths online (at flightware) with tail numbers.....of university jets, boosters private birds..planes landing in so and so place, secret rendezvous with agents of coaches...

and sources are being cited for this deal, that handshake, sightings and real estate dealings. sources..from your brother wife best friends cousin first wife who knows the janitor in the athletic department who has access to the university fax machine!... yeah its a done deal says this poster, no says another poster, coach B is headed our way..
who knows!
only in this program..a cuckoo's nest, a fish bowl as others have called it...numerous message boards filled with overzealous and passionate fans that have nothing else to talk about 365*24 hours, opinionated radio jockeys fueling it...with powerful boosters and trustees forming an inner circle! and those statues on the stadium entrance casting long shadows.......hmmmm...i wait...as does thousands in the ----nation.
.who's it gonna be?..somebody who can win, somebody who stays, and somebody who behaves...(quoting an article on the web:)

so i didnt blog for a while...a busy summer..just too much to do. now that the cold has set in and darkness by 4:30, and the college football season winding down, i think i should have plenty of time to start again.
