anthony's homeport for dinner
dinner with L's uncle, B and me. and no surprises, L picked a seafood joint. anthony's in kirkland. well, what were my veggie choices? a custom fettucine alfredo (seafood removed for me ofcourse..dont know if the juices still remain) the waitress informs me, the cost of it, $22.
#$@#@%$^%%, cant they drop the price since it didnt have the costly ingredients, i didnt ask her ofcourse. so i settled for a baked potato and snap peas. the baked potato came with butter and cream, the snaps peas were dipped in melting butter....in all seriousness, i was holding my arteries....
the company was nice, there was a lot of old money smell in the environs, the setting sun on the lake with the boats bobbling on the blue shimmering waters was very calming..., the baked potato being quickly forgotten and pushed deeped down by a delicious blackberry cobbler...
